This is the first sound in a new pack of sounds where i shall use a virtual ans for the audio, i got the idea from pschrandt's sounds (check him out at https://freesound. Org/people/pschrandt/). With this one, i was just playing around a bit with the spectrogram brush.

Light string sound without melody. Made with a keyboard improvisation midi, processed through virtual synth in music maker as acoustic guitar, disguised with reverb, delay, echo and fx phasing into something that sounds almost like a gypsy cimbalom.

This is a short little loop i made while experimenting with a new synth i got, the arturia microfreak. It's a nostalgic sounding, kinda cheerful, but also sounds a little bit like a goodbye. It should be a seamless loop, and is in c major.

The new hope & ivyland railroad is located in new hope, pennsylvania, usa. Basically, it's a tourist railroad that gives visitors the experience of riding in an old fashioned train. You take a short trip out (too short in my opinion) and a short trip back to the station. Since i wanted clean sound, my wife decided to surprise me by paying for the private seats on the very back (outside) of the train. Think of old pictures of presidents waving from the rear of a moving train. . . That place!. So, with zoomh4n pro in hand, i recorded the entire trip from station to station. There's lots of good, old fashioned, clickity-clackity track in this one. A rarity these days as most tracks are now put down with out breaks for miles at a time. Enjoy!. Christopher.

This is audio i recorded of my husband using his ten year old decrepit constant positive air pressure sleeping machine. I was trying to convince him that he needed a new one. The variety of sounds he and it managed to make is extraordinary. The intermittent beeping is the machine's warning sound. When i played it for him he cried laughing. Just discovered this recording i had from 2016, and thought i'd upload it to complement my other diner recording on here (https://freesound. Org/people/edlundart/sounds/501025/). This is 4 and a half minutes of background noise from a new york city diner, including people talking, clanging plates and glasses and forks and knives and cups being cleared away by staff. Crucially, no music is playing. This means you can either use this clean, or layer in your own rights-cleared music if you're using this in a film or whatever. Recorded in 2016 with an iphone — don't let the recording device scare you, it sounds pretty good and certainly fine for this kind of background noise. Use it in any way you like for any purpose.
